Did this on my 94 GT. Only thing that bothered me was it moving the pedal higher

I would only caution not to over tighten it. If you do and you really floor it, you'll end up thrashing the cable, or possibly bending the go pedal.

Cable ties give enough that that's not a concern for the most part. It could snap I guess but the pedal ain't gonna bend

Also becareful when trimming the ties... if you leave an edge and that edge gets caught at WOT.... ain't gunna be fun!
