Default Waking up my dodge

As a newb, I want to first thank this forum and its members for all of the helpful information on my 2nd Gen dodge!

I have a 1998 Quad Cab 318 with 230,000 miles, it is a 2wd and it has 6" of suspension lift, 3" body lift with 35" tires. I really haven't had many problems with it (rebuilt tranny @ 200k and a new cat around the same time) and it still fires up without hesitation. I haven't had the opportunity to drive it at all for the past 5 years (excluding enough to keep fresh gas in it) and would like to give her a really good tuneup without rebuilding the motor and enough new parts to use her more as a daily.

I have been through the forum and the FAQ section and this is what I have come up with for a list of items (of which I am asking for your guys' input):

New Plugs (NGK V-power Copper: 4291)
Plug Wires (Recommendation?)
Distributor (Recommendation?)
Cap (Recommendation?)
Rotor (Recommendation?)
Check/replace the O2 Sensors
Spectre Dropin Filter
Heavy Duty Brake Rotors, Pads and bearings (not sure what would be best for my application)
Brake fluid flush
Transmission Fluid Flush with new filter
Coolant Flush
Seafoam treatment (Still debating if it will help or hurt at this point)
Oil and filter change (Any recommended high mileage synthetic?)

Please feel free to make this list as long as needed. Thank you! I'll keep searching through old posts to fine tune this list too.

Kevin

First check the plenum(lower intake gasket). Do a search here on DF for tons of info.

welcome to df - good looking truck.
avoid the transmission flush. just change fluid and filter every year. use atf+4 only.
be aware of the plenum. check yours with a stick magnet to see if its aluminum or steel.

what have you been doing for the last 5 years? in service or in jail?

Actually, besides fixing the plenum. If you really want to wake it up, look into getting some gears. You most likely have 3:55's trying to move those 35" tires.

zman17 - Currently researching the Plenum issue on the old posts. As for the gears, yes I am currently running the stock 3.55 rear end and getting quotes to do the 4.56 with a limited slip to take the load off the drivetrain.

dhvaughan - about 5 years ago I quit full time work and part time school to go full time school and part time work. It made better financial sense to drive a honda and register the truck as non operational. I finally finished my degree and started working again, so now I can drive the vehicle I wanna drive!

dodgeram07 - thanks for the compliment and the input... as for the lift, its a 6" suspension lift from a local socal shop that made a lift like the Fabtech just a little beefier. I'm not sure if they're still around though I bought it about 7 years ago. There is more pics at my old cardomain site... http://www.cardomain.com/id/mr_muffin

Only thing about the SCT , is that you can't correct the speedo.
