Just bought a new power steering pump the one that you have to take out the old one out of the resevor. I replace it cuz it was making noise like the bearing was going out. Well got the new one in and that noise is gone but now the new one hums pretty bad.. There are no leaks and the fluid is at proper level. Could this reman pump be a bad one? Thanks just wondering if anyone else has have this problem

is it properly assisting?

i beleive mine was loud too, until i turned the wheel lock to lock enough times for all the air to bleed out

 

well they are giving me a new one tomorrow so well see if this one works

 

Got my new pump and installed it, my problem went away.. So new parts can be bad..
