Cool Anyone thought about or have backup camera?

So I want to get a backup camera for more then one reason. But I want to know if you guys have one or have thought about getting one, and where you got it if you have one and pictures if you got any. Any tips, thoughts, or ideas would be great.

My wifes Explorer has one, but I wouldn't put one on my ram, no need. No blind spots with a regular cab. The only reason I could think would be to back up to a trailer, so in the bumper above the hitch might work, but I don't think it's worth it.

That was one of my big reasons I'm going to be buying a enclosed trailer and I really dont think it would be to fun to try and push it around by myself or get in and out 10 times before its just right.

Friend of mine has a new dodge truck, that came with the backup camera as an installed option. He hauls a three car trailer on a regular basis, and he swears by his backup camera. Makes hooking up his trailer by himself a two minute operation.

Back up cameras from auto zone or any other auto store should do well. We have several back up cameras installed on the bucket trucks, we use for holiday lighting. They mount to the license plate frame bolts. Wireless feed to the monitor if I remember right(been a while since I have used it).

Just saw one at Autozone this week. $79-$30 rebate for a wireless camera with decent picture is bad at all. I might look into one and see if I can convert it into a wireless helmet cam for dirtbiking.

One the cheap ones from A/Z or Advance would work. To mount the sending unit I would p/u an outdoor electrical plug cover from a hardware store and mount it under the bed or behind the bumper. I had one of these on a conversion van and loved it. Only drawback is they "see" 3 ft from the bumper. Another thing to look at is a produt that mounts under the ball and is shaped like a "V" to help aid in aligning the hitch to the ball. It also protects the truck against damage. I think that you can get at Harbor Freight. I have wondered if these "guides" would interfere when turning or not.
