Question Modification Questions????

hey guys this is probably a stupid question but I am just getting in to put mods into my truck, heres the question I just put a cold air intake on about a month ago and was wonderin if I should replace my throttle body to upgrade or it doesnt really make a difference? also what r some things you guys would suggest to get a little more power and torque without going crazy?

throttle body was one of my 1st mods help to her get up and go with throttle responce and the the low end a bit its a mod that pretty much gets better and help other mods like exhaust and headers and CAI !

First, make sure everything is up to snuff. Plenum is dealt with, good tune-up, etc. THEN start going for the mods. If you haven't done your plenum yet, take a hard look at the kegger mod.

Upgraded throttle body plays very well with EVERY consecutive mod you do. Also, consider a tuner. Lots of folks here consider that the BEST mod they have done to their truck. Hemifever can get you an SCT tuner for about 275, with three tunes. Even the 87 octane tune is better than what you have stock.

thanks for the suggestions, yes I have done a tune up, everything but the "kitchen sink". what is the best Throttle body for the money? Just try to get some ideas. when I get into tunning am I gonna have to start foolin with the tranny and gears or is that when u just get into heavy horsepower tunes?

Salex007? had a thread going for throttlebodies he and his brother are modifying. Might wanna have a look into that.

You don't have to worry about trans gears at all. If you start getting into larger tires, diff gears might become an issue though.
