Default Will these seats fit?

Long story short my seats are broken and i found(luckly) a nice pair of seats at a junk yard that arent ripped or wet or anything. I really wanna get them soon if they fit because EVERY ram regardless of year is stripped at this junkyard.

Anyways i have a 95 extended cab and the one im looking at is a 99 extended also i think. Will it fit? Ive tryed reasearching this but couldnt get a answer.

Thanks.

Yea i figured they would, i read somewhere that that all seats from 1994 to 2005 fit but just checking. Thanks.

but yea the passenger seat belt is locked i think, it wont come out but i need the seats bad, the ones i have have broken hinges and move with no resistance all the way back. All i need is the money to buy them haha.

Ok, i bought them and brought it home.

There is a problem though, both of the seat belts are locked up.
Anyone know how to fix this?

You don't need the ones on the seats do you?

Was the 'donor' vehicle involved in an accident?

No i was actually thinking of just cutting the belt out and using my current one. Didnt occur to me till after i posted last.

And i dont think it was involved in accident, it looked fine, not even sure why it was there other then missing the engine. What does that affect?

If you had wanted to re-use the belts that came with the seats...... if the truck had been in a wreck, that would explain why the belts were locked. On a significant enough impact, the 'pre-tensioners' in the mechanism fire, and they are a one shot deal. if the do their thing, seat belts have to be replaced. (at least, the rewinder thingy end....) Assuming, of course, that what is left of the truck is repairable.

That's my understanding of it anyway.

So do you think it will be ok to just use my current one? I think ima just go with that, it seems safer anyways, the seat belt connected to the truck not to the seat itself.
