When I started my truck this morning I noticed the amp gauge was at 12 volts and then after it ran for about 2 minutes the gauge crept up until it showed slightly over the 14 volt mark. The battery is reasonably new and it wasn't bone chilling cold today so I am wondering if I am seeing the beginning of an alternator or voltage regulator failure?
Anybody have any thoughts?
