Living in Rhode Island, a place with snow, i would not get the cheap ebay headers. If you lived in a dry place, I would say yes.

Headers rust. I had ceramic coated headers and they rusted after 1 winter in Upstate NY (Sackets Harbor), and one winter in Canada. But they did not rust all over. They were spotty. Oh, and they spent 6 months in the california central coast. I lived a mile from the ocean.

I can't imagine what they would look like if they were not ceramic coated.

Save for the extra 100 dollars to get the edelbrocks (309). That is what I had and they held up "nicely" in some harsh conditions.

ya im gonna get the stainless units for 130 .the truck is only gonna be used for pullin the camper and maybe an occasional weekend romp.it wont see very much mileage.i cant afford the gas:}
