Magnaflow makes a sweet 2 X 2.25" in and 1 X 3" out. I haven't used it but in hindsight I would have had I found it in time. I ended up with wye from Dynomax or somebody like that who Summit distributes. I forget but it is about as good a wye pipe as I'd imagine is possible. Still wish Ida found that Magnaflow cat though as Ida tried it fo sho.

That is the one I was talking about. I think for anyone who has to have a cat, magnaflow's direct fit cat is the way to go. Just wondered if that would solve the y pipe problem that plagues our trucks. I would think so, since it is bigger piping.

Alls I know is I bought the truck with stock exhaust except 3" cat back...meh

I first tried 3" I/O cat back and...wow I wasn't expecting that much. Very pleased. If I had to guess I'd say 10-15 horse across the RPM band. I didn't percieve any loss of low end like some warned I might but that's not to say it didn't happen as I've never had it on a dyno.

Then I tried the full Eddy shorty header setup like you can buy on Summit et al. It was not as good a bost as the cat but I still felt it was an imprvement all through the RPM band. I'd guess maybe 5ish horsies here but it also came with this cool exhaust cadence that sounds pretty neat.

Sorry man. I honestly don't know. In fact I often wonder if it's even real or if it's just some "sales tactic" the dude who sold it to me came up with to tell me about his sweet fuel system mods. The guy who sold me this thing told me there was one on there is about all I know about it. haha. sad I know. Prolly should look into that one day. lol

Edit: It's probably a high flow fuel filter or something dumb like that haha
