Default Radiatior, replacing shocks, and is this right?

Was going to replace my radiator today, but before draining I decided to disconnect the transmission cooler lines. I thought I had the right tool, but couldn't figure out how to do it. Do I insert it where the blue arrow is?

Then I was going to replace the shocks, but when trying to remove the top bolt, the shock just spins. Is there a trick to keep it from spinning?

Also while under the hood I noticed something strange, are these supposed to be hooked up to each other, or maybe to something else?

To remove the front shocks, there is a place on the top of the shock to put a wrench on it and then use another wrench on the nut itself.

That is the correct spot to disconnect the trans line. It is indeed a pain though. Get your tool in there, shove it in ALL the way, push the line TOWARD The radiator first, (while pushing the tool deeper into the fitting) and then pull. Should come off fairly easily that way.

Green Arrow: That's an A/C line. Nothing goes there. Shoulda been a cap though. That is for use when draining/filling/diagnosing the system.

Blue Arrow: It is exactly where it goes. That is the vent tube for the front axle. If you follow it down, it connects to the vent fitting on the CAD housing.
