First off the truck cranks forever to get it started in the morning. Once started runs good. when in reverse it will spit and sputter. If you bump the throttle again it runs good. And ive never seen the truck over 130 degrees even with the aftermarket gauge. Like I said it runs ok but these things arnt normal.

Check air filter, take off the throttle body, clean it and reinstall with new gasket, seafoam the engine, and change the plugs to Champions or NGK V-powers. That should be a good start.

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge.
