Default Parts Place?

OK, Son has been driving for a week. Took my 98 2WD sport to school, hit a big rock with the front bumper and now I need a new bumper and left marker light. I looked up the prices on LMC truck. they seem reasonable. Any other place I should be looking?

Thanks.

if you don't mind doing the work, check the junkyards. I'm always a fan of the jy. Craigslist usually has those parts too. The marker light can easily be found on ebay.

Wow, what was he doing to find a boulder large enough to take out a bumper and side marker? I'd make him pay for it, or at least part of it.

+1 for what the others said. Salvage yards, eBay, and LMC.

Thanks. New driver, cornered a little too fast on wet road. Guess he was on the brake at the same time and understeer took over. Bumper was dented a little already and bumper cover sheared off the lens cover.

Used some silicone adhesive to put the lens cover back on for now. Raining here for the last few days so not sure I really want to tromp around a JY but looks like we'll make the trip this afternoon.

Good luck with the search, and if you know of any large parking lots or roads with fields next to them and no large rocks, take him out and let him have some fun it will help teach him how the truck will handle and next time he will finish up his drift on the road.
