So tonight I got outta my truck and it was really quiet. Well as I'm walking to my garage to close the door I hear a noise coming from the mid to rear of my truck. It was the strangest noise ever and I've never noticed it before. It was like a "ker-clunk, ker-clunk........ker-clunk, ker-clunk".

The region was around the muffler so I'm assuming that was it (metal contracting since it's about 15F out tonight). Anybody ever notice anything like that on their Rams? It only did it for about a minute and then stopped. It was shut off so no moving parts or anything.

 

Probably just the metal contracting in the cold. Mine does that too. FAR more noticeable in the chilly weather.
