If you are still using the stock fuel injection system that came with the truck, that is indeed SFI.

Fuel Sync is what you are looking for. I don't know how fussy the system is about having it set "just so"...... but, I haven't pulled my distributor yet either.

I'm not 100% sure its not sfi, I know i pulled fuel rail on driver side a few days ago. It just seemed they all squirted at the same time. I wanted to get over to my buddy's and hook up to his scan tool and play with it for a while, he's more of a Ford guy. The check engine light keeps coming on so i need to find out whats that about. I just love a good basket case.

LOLOL. Seems that whatever I buy is a basket case, whether that was my intention or not....

Your injectors shouldn't all be pulsing at the same time.... wonder if you got some leakers?

I wouldn't doubt it. kinda thought it was a steel for a project truck. $200 is what it cost. $800 in the engine only cause 2 cases of beer knocked $700 off the total cost. Thanks NAPA. I have a little bit of an "in" there. I liked the looks of the Little red express. I'm weird like that so I'm building my tribute in a 4x4 2500 model. I found a 77 long bed step side to go look at and take some measurements to see if it comes close to fitting.(drill, cutting touch, wire feed welder) lol should be fun.
