Default ok now I need help

rebuilt my 360 in my 99 ram 2500. Installed last weekend. No spark and no fuel injectors. do to to long of bolts it broke the mount for crank sensor. Pulled tranny fixed bolt problem and glued sensor back together. Sensor part is good just the mount part cracked. I will replace it in a while. Now I have spark and injectors back and found my distributor was out 180 somehow. Backfire through intake. Pulled dis. and turned 180 and nothing. I still have spark and injectors, but no runny. When I put dis back in I aligned mark on sensor with rotor and of course made sure my firing order was right. Every now and then it sounds like it wants to fire. This truck was a basket case when i bought it so I have never seen it run. But as far as I can tell without obd2 monitor. any ideas?

update , pulled timing chain cover off and found i used the wrong key way slot. 3 different angles. oops. reset every thing and it started right out of the gate. raps up great at 3/4 throttle, but at full throttle it starts to bog out.I'll try and put tranny in sometime Saturday and actually go drive it, and do some breaking in.

Pull the crank position sensor before installing the trans. Less chance of breaking it that way. (very common problem.)

you didnt by any chance pinch the cam position sensor wire between bellhousing and motor did you? very common for this to happen.

I installed crank sensor almost last. When i put clutch in I didn't have all the bolts to install it. The 2 i put in were about 3 threads to long and just caught.. the sensor . Mine is a manual trans so I put sensor back in and installed the bell housing. I put trans in on saturday. I have the iron trans that thing weighs a ton by its self. distributor is ok no pinched wires. Didn't install that till engine was in. didn't want to break it during install of engine. I let run for a half hr last night and seemed to be running better. It just won't rap up at full throttle. I did my best to align marks on distributor but could that cause hesitation during throttle up? Not that i'm raping that crap out of my new rebuild, just noticed it was not very responsive. I 'll try and get it drivable saturday and put some breakin miles on it before playing with distributor.

If the distributor has been in and out, you'll want to have the fuel sync reset with a capable scanner.

Well its all together today. Found out second gear is no good (pops out) and the synchro is trashed in 4th. But other than that shes a runner. For the fuel system "re set". Sounded fishy to me. These or in my case, is not an sfi system. Meaning all the injectors fire at the same time. So a fuel system re set? Called a friend of mine who is running his own shop nowa days, has a OTC scanner. we talked a while and checked on alldata. No sign of any fuel system Re set. If it were SFI I might by it. Any one have a good NV4500 just laying around? lol
