Default Suspension

Here goes... 2001 ram 1500 auto 360 swapped off road 4x4. I had Airbagit.com build a 4 link set up for the truck.. " never deal with them bought it in sept last year just got the kit a week ago" Has anyone put on a full 4 link rear setup. With front air suspension. They didn't send any instructions at all. They have a discription on their web page but I'm looking to see if anyone has actually done this. If they had to get different mounts for trac bar pitman arm new shocks brake lines? I will be posting Pictures of the process maybe a video this weekend if we dont get the 8 inches of snow..

Why do you want links with bags..? That's beyond pointless. My Expedition is linked, and I've built over 20 linked vehicles. That's not the way to do it. Not to mention that AIM IND. crap you're talking about is all China made.

Its their towing/ lift kit.. And Im not the one who built it.. I just asked them for a product and this is what I got. It replaces springs all way around.. Just looking to see if anyone else has done this or am I one of the first to try this , looking for any problems they had or any tips. Not to be made fun of or questioned why do something. Its like why did you wake up and and answering with umm the sky is blue.

If your expedition is linked what did you use to control vertical movement? And don't say coil springs, because you can change air pressure in an airbag to control ride height.

http://www.airbagit.com/product-p/towing-do-1500.htm
Was suppost to be coated in blue but Co. doesn't stand up to its word.. Its a 4 in lift with the bags on top of it. So it can adjust up to 6 more inches up by flip of a button for each bag. Made in phoenix az USA not CHINA..

I'm not making fun of you at all. I'm telling you, that you bought junk. You should return it and buy something else. I build suspension for a living, and for a hobby. I can tell you right now anything from AIM Ind./airbagit is trash.

Coilovers, that's the only way to do it.

Interesting. And all supposedly a direct bolt on. Even more interesting. But, it didn't come with installation instructions? Hold on:

Installation Instructions.

But..... 3300 bucks? Holy smoke. Any particular reason you are going with that style of kit???

I think my biggest concern with that "kit" is using the differential housing itself as a suspension component. Links should be connected to the top of a truss on the axle itself. not haphazardly bolted to the face of a cover that was never designed to be used in that way.
