Default SRT 2nd gen?

Wondering how my truck would look with a SRT-10 front end and hood, think it would look dumb or what? Also thinking of going with the SRT-10 rims as well. Another question is I found an older viper 6 speed tranny, does anybody know the company that makes the adapter work, I believe the tranny is a T56 maybe? Just messing around with ideas

I would think that any adapter for putting a 47 or 48R? trans to a v-8 should work. When I looked, I didn't see much for dodge.....

Wonder if a bellhousing from a V-8 and six speed from a newer truck would work? Did they use the same trans? Did the bellhousing bolt pattern change on the third gens?

some dakota people that have done this got me some places but looks like it will cost some serious coin, about as much as a budget 408 would cost.

ive seen pics of a 2nd gen with a 3rd gen front bumper and it looked real good, but ive never seen a srt10 front cover on one, id assume you would have to make custom supports or moddify the ones that come with it.

as for the rims, theres an add on cl around here for 4x 20'' srt10 rims for $600. i was thinking about them and some 35'' tires, that would be a custom look, i just dont have $600+ to spend right now.

A Viper T56 will bolt right up to the 360. The Viper V-10 and Ram V-10 were both based off the LA 360 V8. Putting a six speed behind a 360? Oh my, you have found my majic button! Throw some good tires on there, some fat sway bars and good shocks, and SCT tune that beast, take it autocrossing!

Throw some SRT-10 wheels on there and give me those Indys!
