i just isntalled a magnaflow highflow cat a few months back before fall i believe, with no muffler or glasspack. just dual straits from the cat back. it sounds pretty good, id maybe like it a little louder myself, but they say im just used to the sound lol. one thing with that cat is it kept setting off my 02 sensor on my exhaust. i did the sparkplug nonfouler trick to fix it and hasnt came on since. but idk if it would set yours off or not. do you have a 318 or 360? ive been thinking about glasspacks but i would like to see what they sound like.

My high flow converter has never set off my O2 sensor. Luck of the draw I guess.

yea thats what i figured, if i knew it would have set my 02 off, i never would have installed a cat, i would have left it off and just did the nonfouler trick. I got the cat thinking it wouldnt set off my sensor, but it did. oh well, cant argue with the sound, i like it.

i have the 318 without cat with glasspacks i liked the sound but make sure you weld it so its fully sealed and have pipes connect from the glasspacks to atleast the bed so u dont drown the cab noise.

I've been running Magnaflow high-flow cat for 4-5 years now I think. Except for the time when it broke apart inside after I went wheeling (Magnaflow replaced it), I have not had any problems with them. No codes. Sound was increased just slightly.

You would really like the cat if your looking for sound. Love my truck every time she starts up and going down the road with the windows down.
