Default Brakes?Rotors?Calipers?

Hey guys, I have a bit of a problem. When i brake brake my vehicle and brakes shake like the rotors are warped, but I just put brand new rotors and brakes pads on, it is a mystery. I took it to a auto shop and they didnt feel anything and said everything is ok, but when I get in and drive I feel it and notice it. What could the problem be, i have been told so many different things. Please help

Did this problem start as soon as you replaced the rotors and pads? Is that the only time it shakes?

No, it was already happening before i changed the rotors and brakes , i have been told it is my calipers are bad, i have defected rotors, etc. Im clueless and dont want to just go out and buy parts and not know what it could be.

So that's the only time it shakes? Who told you the calipers were bad? Just one mechanic, or several? Have you inspected the caliper pistons for wear marks or hot spots? I'd actually start off by inspecting the front suspension, i.e. ball joints, tie rods etc.

Yeah, it only does it when you brake, when i called advance auto the first thing they told me right away was my calipers were bad but then got different answers from different auto shops and people.

I had the same problem. Brought my truck in to the mechanic and said, "I want to get new rotors and pads and calipers." He replaced them then he called me over to look at something. The ball joints were BAD and the wheels were wobbling (It was lifted and he shook the wheels, about 2 inches of play). So he replaced the ball joints as well.

I think it was just the ball joints.

Jack up your truck and pull your wheels from side to side and up and down. If there is play...it is your BALL JOINTS.

Did you replace the shims AND Did you grease the shims with silicone grease? If not, then your pads might not be meeting the rotors clean.

It could be your lines, but all signs point towards your calipers.

Does it vibrate under hard acceleration?
