New rotors, even trued up to confirm no warpage. Again, only when braking.

Rotate your tires. See if the vibration changes.

If that doesn't help, take a look at the rear shoes.

HeyYou - even put on new tires, all four, after brakes (needed them, 1, and 2, thought they would help). 275 60/20's, same as before, but will check back brakes (these were done about 6 mos. ago, only replaced pads (disc all around), not shoes (parking brake). I'm usually pretty good at this brake pad replacing, but this is p'ing me off.

I'd like more info on how the back brakes may affect the front vibration, or is it just my imagination that it's the front? Also checked u-joints and front bearings, no play. Thinking about just replacing front calipers (Wagners) and brake lines. Necessary? Any input is greatly appreciated. Again, only when braking. Down the road, no vibration nor any play with ball joints or tie-rods. Thanks again.

BTW, tires were put on after the continued shimmy. Not much change in situation.

If the calipers aren't dragging, changing them and the lines isn't going to matter.

Rear brakes will shake the whole truck. When mine were bad, stepping on the brakes made me cringe, I thought something was going to fall off..... Hard to tell just where it is coming from.

Also possible that whoever cut your rotors, didn't have them on the lathe square..... Easy to test. Just jack up the front end, and spin the tire, if it is loose, then grabs, then loose, etc..... rotors are warped. Works the same on the rear.

I think i might have found why my brakes are vibrating, i checked one side so far of my rear brakes and one of the brakes is worn uneven and the other brake shoe is even. So i am hoping that that is the problem.

Jamie71 - Let me know how things go, looking to work on the brakes one more time.

FYI, HeyYou, thanks for hitting the nail on the head. One rear rotor was warped, but the guys at O'Reilly's took care of it and the truck no longer vibrates. I appreciate all the info, first time user, but won't be the last. BTW, what are good pads for everyday use from local auto parts stores? I currently have Duralasts on the rear, wonder if they caused the warpage, or just bad turning on the rotors 6 months ago. We'll see in six months.

Thanks again.
