i have a 96 dodge ram 5.2 4x4 and i sold the transfer case thinking ide never get it runing but i did and now i need a transfer case so i was thinking mabey i could take the one off my 1995 jeep zj 5.2. im not 100% shure if it would work. if u got any tips or resons for it to not work tell me.

Find one from a 94-97 truck of the same weight rating as yours. Put a Transfer case saver in it before you install it. (google search will find it for you)

 

+1, do not bother with the TC from the Jeep, you will most likely run into shift pattern and spline size issues.
