I have 99 ram 5,9 auto, what years will work ? Will the harness from a 5.2 work, My wires melted from one of the computer plugs all the way to my ac/heat switch on the inside, I found 3 98's at the junkyard all 5.2's wandering if they'll work

 

You would have to call the dealer, and check part numbers on that. They might be the same, then again, they might not....... Of course, the only difference might just be some wire colors changed......

Engine size won't make a difference in this particular case. (between a 5.2 and a 5.9, I am sure the 8.0, and der diesel would be dramatically different.)

 

Thanks i''ll call them my local dealer don't seem to want to help unless they do the work,Hate to just part the truck it runed drove good and looks good yellow with black mopar rumble stripe I've owned it 8 years
