plenum pan gasket sillycone
i personally wouldnt put rtv silicon on the belly pan cause if a piece fell off into your kegger, it would travel all the way through your motor(hopefully).
i did use rtv in between the intake and block.

Please give me the low down on the gaskets and if I and where I would used the RTV. When i replace the belly pan..do i put RTV or just the fel pro gasket? Do I use it on both sides? Where do I just use a gasket and not RTV?
Did a buddies a few months back, and is working well so far. Did as a mech. told us to. No RTV between the bellypan & manifold. We just used the metal gasket that came with the hughes bellypan. Applied thread lock and torqued bolts. We lightly used RTV on front and rear seals and sides where manifold sits on block. Especially around the bolt holes. That was it.
When i use to make modded keggers we would dimple the mating surface of the intake. This gives the RTV something to grab hold of. So yes i have used RTV on all intake pans with gasket. It is used as a dressing therefore the direction for it being used as a dressing needs to be followed.
