Default plenum pan gasket sillycone

Simple question - do you guys silicone the gaskets (felpro in this instance) that appear to already have a sealant on them?

I didn't. I think I read somewhere it states specifically NOT to use silicon on the gasket.

Yes, what were you referring to when you said "it"?

You are supposed to use a gasket between the intake manifold and the plenum pan. Techs used to tell me not to use any sort of RTV on it, just the gasket, but recently they have been changing their tunes and stating that RTV is OK to use on it.

Personally, just used the gasket on the pan, then gaskets where the manifold meets the heads and silicone where it meets the block. Worked for me.
