Today I got everything off excePt the ball joints( have to pick up a press in the morning). I'm replacing the ball joints, u joints, hubs, and brakes. While I'm in there. Parts went to bad about $350 it came apart fairly easy had a few speed bumps. My inch drive set my 1 11/16 socket would not fit down in the hub to take of the axle nut so off to tractor supply. For abot $30. I got 3/4 in dr. T bar, 1 11/16 socket 12pt 14mm 3/4-1/2 adapter and my threaded rod and nuts to Put on my 14x3, not to bad I don't think. My other bump was it looked like some one tried taking off the upper ball joint cotter Pin and broke it and tried taking offf the nut with it still in . That was a pain in the ... But I got it. Now to tackle the u joints tonight at work on the press.....

It happens that if one headlight goes out the opposite side headlight will be soon to burn out. I have heard that this is caused by a voltage use differential, but I think it's just because of the consistency of bulb technologies and that they are most likely replaced at the same time. If one goes, the other is soon to follow. besides, I can always tell an old bulb from a new one by looking at the brightness and that kinda bugs me.

I've replaced the driver's side headlamp in my truck and just one taillamp in 5 years of ownership.
I'll chalk up that logic to being an Old Wive's Tale.
