Default Balljoints

Ok I found out today that 3 of the 4 ball joints are bad. The dealer says there still factory. With that said would it be better to let them replace them for $250 to save the headache or just do it my self. In the drive way with hand tools?

And that to replace all four.

Seeing that mine were $228 for upper and lower on one side only, parts only (OEM, I installed) that's a steal.

Firestone tried to quote me $1100 for all 4 BJ's!!! I did it myself. Bought my XRF ball joints for $137. I'd let them do it BUT check to see what brand BJ's they want to use!!!

Would that matter? The procedure is pretty much the same.

Pretty sure there is a noticeable price difference between 2wd and 4x4 balljoints like almost double for 2wd trucks from some brands, as far as changing them out the newer 2wds will probrably be alot more having to deal with the rivets, where as older 2wds and 4x4's are pretty darn simple
