Default Squeaking when I accelerate

I am the owner of a 2001 Dodge Ram, 1500, 4X4, 5.9L V8 Magnum and recently my truck starts to squeek when I accelerate. It sounds like it is coming from the center of the truck and only happens when the truck is in drive, it won't "squeek" when I rev the engine in park. I just had a new custom exhaust put in but i don't think thats the source of the noise. Any suggestions? I am trying to figure out where this noise is coming from. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check u-joints for binding, or just being plain worn out.

It's more like you need to check the rear drive shaft first, Squeek is the frist sign of a failing cross joint, don't just grab it and chack for play, you need to remove the shaft and check for binding at the joint. As it's only making noise when under load in two wheel it will not be the front shaft as is not under load. The noise my even go away don't let this fool you, the problem is just in anthoer stage.

+1 on u-joints. Usually it'll be the ones in the rear driveshaft first, as it is the one that sees power all the time
