I have some questions for ya’ll running HIDs on aftermarket projector head lights? Did you have to use a relay? One more thing, my truck only has one plug for hi/low beams. Did anyone else have to splice into the stock wiring or head light wiring to install the HIDs, and any problems. I just know putting the projecter lights in was a real pain and i thought i would ask this time instead of trying to figure it out my self.

well here an update on the hid install, installed the drivers side light and it just fickered. Installed the pass. side light and it was the only one that would come on and stay on. So after about an hour and a half of changing things up i got pissed and riped the projectors and lights out and went back to the stock setup which took all of 5mins. I still would like to give them another shot though. I know everything works but i am still not sure if i need any special resestors/ or an relay i did read some where on here that some of the 01's are new enough to have flickering issues. but dont rember seeing any thing about how to fix them. i also read some where that the 35w kits don't need a relay.

lol Really? I wonder why?... I think you would get pulled over in a few states for that.. my first thought is whats wrong with it and why is it spewing so much unburnt fuel? It doesnt look like a worn out old semi truck pulling a load to me? I you actually want that? I really dont get it? Its got to be annoying to everyone around including people in your cab?
