power seat

Default power seat

so all the sudden its not moving. not the fuse. All plugs are pluged in. Am i looking at a new seat?

Have you checked for power coming from the switches?

its got power. but will not move

Check and make sure you get power to the motor when you hit the switches. If you do, replace the motor.

ive never worked with power seats but is it one motor for the whole seat?

I'd by-pass the switch to make sure the motor was bad before replacing it...may just have dirty switch contacts, or a bad switch. Paper clip and a few pin touches here and there would let you know if the motor was not functioning.

There are at least two that I am aware of. Possibly even three..... Figger out which ones DO work... the one that doesn't is the one you wanna play with.
