Wonder if the spring is getting weak, and not pulling the lever back all the way?

Do they sell replacements ? The spring feals a little loose, not very stiff at all. If i put my finger on it and push on it in the center and let it fling back itll wiggle quiet a bit. It seems to be rubbing on the cooler lines too. Whatever i did wiggling the spring, or wiggling the stuff the cable and spring are connected too, when driving to home depot with my mom we both noticed randomly that it didnt jerk much at all anymore.

I took it for a drive just now and same thing, front end didnt chug down like it usually did at least not as bad, and giving it light throttle which is where it was really bad i hardly felt a thing, and medium/high throttle its gone

I would imagine so..... Can probably get a part number from the dealer, and a price check.... call your favorite auto parts store, and see if they can cross the number to an aftermarket piece, see if it is any cheaper....

When you are underneath the truck looking at the lever/cable/ spring assembly. If you can't push it any further past where the spring is pulling it back in, then you have NO problem with that part of it. Pull the cable off the the TB and see where it lines up, WITHOUT removing the white clip.

It lines up perfectly with the ****. The black clip that clips on the ****. If you turn it on its side you will see the circle where the **** goes in right. On the side of that circle there is a line going through the center, That center line is lined up perfectly with the **** end.

Lemme go take a picture brb

There its lined up, when it was slipping before i adjusted it back in nov/dec, it was more then 1/16 inward to the left. It was out of adjustement i belive... anyway. I probably do have something wrong with it, but i sware wiggling the spring and the stuff underneeth it doesnt jerk anymore.

Yea i know but it hasnt slipped in 3 months since i adjusted the TV cable because like i said it was way out of adjustment. The thing was pulled to far back to the left, like way far back. I'll have am echanic look at the tranny i guess in the summer all i know is whatever i did wiggling the stuff underneeth it doesnt chug or jerk anymore, and the slipping has been gone for awhile. It seems fine now, which is wierd.

Compare that picture to this one. This is the pic i took before i adjusted it back then. Look where i circled. That big fat rubber triangle thing, compare that to the picture above. See how much further in it is ? It was like a good 2-3mm too far in
