i just bought an 01 dodge 1500 and was wondering how do u tell what model it is(sport/off-road or regular)thanks also need a set of front doors if yall have any 4-sale pm me

A sport has painted bumpers and grill. A regular (non-sport) has chrome ones.

They off road package was offered in a sport and non sport. Some visible items that an off road package has which a non off road did not have include off road decals, 17" wheels, red shocks, some extra skid plating, tow hooks under the front bumper, extra webbing on the front axle, etc.

are these the tow hooks for the SPORT OFF-ROAD, like the black truck?

 

that doesn't mean "beating off", that means that a topic and same old same old keeps getting brought up.... if that makes sense

 

what sucks is I have the same truck in white but the a**hole decided to take care of the leather interior (which is near mint) but didnt really care about the exterior which has dents, scratches and rust slowly forming on the bottom doors, front bumper cracked in about 3 spots (which is impossible to find a replacement bumper especially in the OFF-ROAD version of it

 

ever heard the expression "beating a dead horse"? its useless, just as is revisiting the same topic over and over...wrong context bud hahaha

 

so what if you have a mix of both? like mine says off road sport on the little emblem behind the rear passanger window..
