Some actually have the vin number stamped on them........ not sure how prevalent that practice was. If it is there at all, it will be stamped onto a flat surface along the mounting face, engine to trans.

I can't find a "decoder" for dodge trans casting numbers...... GM out the whazzoo, but, nothing for dodge...... Might wanna talk to the dealer, one would think they would understand the markings on their own transmissions......
