1994-1995 trucks were OBD I, an earlier computer system that doesn't really allow programming very easily. The easiest route would be for you to find a Mopar Performance PCM online (order it).
1996-1997 were sort of "conversion" years, a mixture of OBD I and OBD II parts that not very many tuners can program.
1998+ were true OBD II model years that most popular tuners can work with (SCT, Superchips, etc.)
