Default Slow pick up.

Well lately I have been experiencing some slow pick up speed. I press on the gas and it takes a second to actually get up and go, but it takes some time to actually get going quickly. When I turn over drive off, it's a little better. But it's still a little slow. I replaced my transmission filter not to long ago due to a leak. But, that's fine now. So I'm not sure what else it be.

How many miles on the truck?

Still have a cat? (not the kind that sits in your lap.)

How's the plenum look?

Miles: 124k
Cat: Sadly, don't know.
Plenum: I haven't checked lately. It sucks trying to get that off!

Aren't you the same guy that claimed you only have 2 gears?

Dude, no offense, but you need to hit up the search function, read up, and study. Get familar with the truck, its parts, the lingo, and then come back and ask the questions. There is no way on earth anyone can give you an accurate diagnosis with what you've posted.

Cat=catalytic converter
Plenum=the area inside the intake manifold. You can't "get it off".

I know I probably sound like a big dick, but man, you've gotta come at least part of the way.

The "two gears" isn't what I meant to make it say. I'm just really exhausted the past few days. Been working 13 hour days, trying to get stuff done. I'm still young, I'm learning. I know how to get to the plenum, I just never had the time to do it, but if that's a thing I need to replace, then I will. I got the truck used at 120k, so maybe that'll be an issue.

no offense either man, but we surely cant help you make a diagnosis if you wont step outside and have a look at what we're suggesting.

+1 plenum or cat
