Default 96 ram 1500 bucking hesitating

hey everyone i have a 96 ram 1500 with the 5.9, problems all started when the battery went dead truck would die occasionally upon letting off the throttle, i cleaned the throttle body and the iac, replaced the iac fixed that problem. Out of the blue the truck started having a buck at a certain point in the throttle which has gotten progressivly worse to the point i can't get above 45 or so, sometimes it runs great from a stop to about 30mph or so then starts breaking up, i've replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, wires installed according to the tsb, new coil, new throttle position sensor. please help i'm about ready to pull my hair out also the cat is not clogged. when it acts up its like someones turning the ignition on and off repeatedly. also keeps throwing code 43 no others besides 12 i believe which was just for the dead battery. thanks tom

Coil will only be energized for a few seconds when you turn the key on. If the PCM doesn't see the engine turning, it will shut everything off.

I'm wondering if you got all of it out when you gutted the cat. Maybe not, and part's of it are blocking the cat again or got into the new exhaust. Unscrew the pre cat o2 temporarily and see how it runs for the hell of it.
