Default Plenum Plate

Strangely enough I couldn't find the answer to my question in a search, however I know it's been covered dozens of times.

Roughly how large of a piece of aluminum do I need to make the plenum plate?

if you wanted to make the plate up ahead of time, you can buy a gasket and use it as a pattern. you'll need the gasket anyway come swap time.

from champion....
7 1/4" x 16" rectangular dimensions at the widest and longest points. I used a skil saw with a carbide blade to cut mine out, and then a bandsaw to trim it.
