did you gap and check the spark plugs before you installed them. i had 2 brand new spark that went bad not long after i installed them. the only way to find out is to test it for spark.

Distributor has very little to do with spark timing. PCM reads the crank sensor to determine when to fire the plugs. Cam sensor in the dist is used to control timing for the injectors. (which one to fire...... ) Moving the distributor won't change the timing, it will only screw up fuel sync, which can cause the engine to not run.....

Wrong. Twisting the Distributor only changes when the injectors fire...Timing is controlled by the PCM.
