I worry a lot about it when I am on some of the forest trails that are covered with basketball sized sharp pointy rocks.

Buy a heavier load rating tire? You're nuking this.

i am currently running goodyear wrangler duratracs size 285/75/16 load range E. ive had them for almost 1k miles and i LOVE them! they are awesome in the snow, and have a perfect aggressive tread pattern. i plow with my truck and i couldnt believe how much of a difference these tires made! ill take a pic of my truck with them if you would like so you can see what a ram looks like with them to get a better idea. i paid 202.36 per tire. i got them at a local tire shop and the price matched tread depot's price. i would reccommened the tires to anyone! the tech where i got them told me that if rotated properly ever 3-5k miles they will last upwards of 40k. i know alot of people dont like good years, i myself didnt like them due to the fact my mom has them on her jeep and they absolutely suck! they are completely worn after only 20-25k miles. fwiw i think they would be a great choice for you!

I work at Goodyear, and the Duratrac's are nice tires. But honestly, look into the Kelly Safari TSR's. they last longer and provide better traction than the Duratracs.

If they're that pointy, any tire will be penetrated.

KM2's for gnarfroading, Projects/ Labels for racing.

ive got the duratracs on my truck and honestly they're not a bad tire. plenty of traction on multiple surfaces. the only problem ive had is when you're aired down to 15 or so the sidewalls are really squishy so you have to be extra carefull on rocks and whatnot. given the chance i would by another set of these tires.
