I dont like goodyear never have and lately I was reminded why....A friend of mine got 4 brand new wrangler(not sure exact models) got them with the warranty and free repair stuff, he has replaced the original four already for blowouts and holes in sidewall.....has two that have holes in the sidewall right now he has to take them back and one more just needs a patch. Needless to say he will be selling these tires once he gets his replacements. We both take our trucks to the same places, and I have never had a problem, and he takes him mom's excursion through the same stuff and it weighs alot more and has hankooks on it

Im looking very hard at the BFGs as my next tire, I have seen people get 50k out of them and they do great in about anything other than thick mud

50k on a singlecab Ranger, MAYBE. On a fullsize, no way. And I'm talking about usable tread, not wearbar status.

I agree, I was lucky to get 40K out of my set of BFG AT. Running some Bridgestone duler AT Revo's right now. Actually my second set. My heavy foot is wearing these tires too fast! lol

I have a set of duratracs on my truck.. Best tires i've ever bought. I had a set of Destination MTs, mud dawgs, bfg rugged trails, and these by far are the best, day in day out. Quiet on the highway, awesome in snow, they dig and clean out awesome in the muck. I was pushing snow with the bumper, my rockers sit 24 inches off the ground and had snow right up to them and the truck never missed a beat.

they may be a little soft, but i can deal with that for the traction that they provide

Count me in as someone who got over 40K out of BFG Mud Terrains. Best tire ever! Hard tread so the noise is high at highway speeds. They still have tread on them now but the sides are worn out from my locker in the back eating on them.

I haven't ran the duratrac, but my buddy has them on his 04 Ram 3500 and has no complaints. He likes them better than his last set of BFG A/T's.

I have been doing some looking for tires, and the shop I deal with recommended some Hankook Dynapro ATM's. The shop owner recently took the stock Michelins off of his new Ford truck that only had 300 miles on them, and put these on.

The other tires that have been recommended to me by my brother are Nokian Vatiiva's. He says he has put them on three trucks so far and really likes them.

From what I have read, the hankook's (interesting name.....) are good tires.
