so i got a problem and its not my freeze plugs... i got a drip of my trans when parked its not spray off ...bought new freeze plugs and i looked for the old ones found them ....nice and shiny....what now... i bypassed my heater core still leaks...anybody

 

There are 2 plugs between the tranny and back of block. You need to remove tranny to get to them.

 

in a 5.2 there is six total 2 on each then 2 on the back top all 1 5/8....there in great cond...not the freeze plugs

 

Maybe a heater hose where they come out of the firewall or the intake manifold is leaking at the back.

 

Are the plugs in the back you are looking at in the heads? Or, were you able to actually see the plugs in the back of the block?

If you are getting coolant out the bellhousing hole, there is a very limited number of places it could be coming from.....

 

Some how I doubt he looked there.

 

yes i looked up at two of them on the block on both sides,,,then there is one under neath between the firewall and block and same on other side....jets suck btw

 

idk might be the heads it s a distance its up higher then my trans is
