Talking Plenum is DONE!

So today a friend and I attacked my Plenum. Also did Cap, Rotor and wires. Spark plugs and O2 sensor to come soon. Although, the one spark plug I took out didn't look bad at all.

Anyway, runs so smooth now that I don't even recognize it. No more knock either. Thought I had a lifter or bearing going out. Well I don't hear it anymore which is great! One more thing, she accelerates like she should! No more hesitation at all! Overall this is definitely money well spent!

Here you can see the gasket pushing out from in between the belly pan and the kegger.

This bolt broke as soon as we even touched it!

Oil pooled up inside the intake.

Lookin' good!

All put back together and burping the cooling system.

If you haven't done this, I highly recommend it!

Good Job. You should have the cat tested in case it started getting clogged, just to eliminate any prob with it later on.

Yeah, that was quite a pain lastrights. Took about an hour and a half to get it out.

I'll definitely check the cat.

So you could leave your Distributor installed? What order do you recommend for disassembly? Did you replace your thermostat while you were in there?
