99 2500 4x2 5.9l gas Crank wont Start
My truck has been a great truck. I use it about once a month and it has never let me down till now. It was running great when I parked it and now it just cranks wont start.
Factoids. No DTC codes present. I rented an OBD II and it was able to connect and query, but had no codes. I did an erase and re-cranked. Still no codes.
I tried a bit of starter fluid, no dice.
Fuel pump pressurizes (I can hear it)
Checked all fuses and relays. All are fine
Replaced coil, rotor and cap. (cap position is a real pain to get to!)
I have seen other posts, but have not found any resolutions.
Many thanks in advance.

Yup I would also think that a bad sensor would cause a DTC code to be present and the CEL would be on. However this is not the case. Was your light on when this happened?
Pretty much a head scratcher.
Is there a way to check these sensors without replacement?

yea my cel came on. i dont know if u can test them. maybe just unplug your negative battery cable, let it sit for a few mins then reconnect it and try to start it. when u disconnect negative battery cable it resets everything. give that a try. also you might want to google how to test those sensors. you might need a voltmeter.
