Default Installing headers real quick question

I'm getting ready to install some headers. My question is, the fel-pro gaskets have one raised metal side and on the other side, it's flat and looks to be paper. Which side goes where? Just trying to get it done right the first time.

Make sure you torque and retorque the bolts. I recommend Stage 8 locking. I burnt through my gasket on the driver side header becuase the very rear header bolt was a bear to get tight (at least for me). Now I have an annoying exhaust tick. it's been too cold to tear the header back off. I used Remflex gaskets the first time, but I think I am going to get SCE copper gaskets this time around.

wrong, metal side always goes towards the headers because the header's metal expands with heat and contracts when they cool down and the metal side of the gasket allows this to happen where as the other side would wear out from the expansion and contraction over time.

Upon further inspection, the metal side has a very light stamp that says "manifold side". So the metal side goes to the manifold.

Normally you can't go wrong with Felpro, but in the case of headers, there is nothing better then the Remflex gasket. I highly recommend them, and would never use anything other.

Where can you get Remflex gaskets? They only had Felpro at the store.
