the motor has horse power and tourqe. but i am considering selling it and putting a cummins or a stock 318 back in it.
motor has maybe 10,000 mile tops. whats a good price for the motor, and also what do you guy think about a cummins in a 1/2 ton ram.
please don't give me no hell on the choice of me doing this motor like this, i though i was going to drag race my truck then i decided this truck can't handle drag racing.

What kinda mileage you seeing with said "race motor"? It may be you just have unrealistic expactatins about stock motor mileage....it's not like they economize on gas much either you know?

well, im going to go out on a limb here, and say his "race" motor is nowhere near a "race" motor. gas mileage is probably the same as a stock 318.

if i had to guess, id say he said "ima go .060 over, throw in an RV cam, run 112 octane fuel and call it 'a race motor' "

i also dont know where hes coming from when he says "performance crank".... longer stroke, or forged would make more sense, but he didnt mention that it was a 390 (or something of the sort) stroker, and what idiot throws an $800 forged crank in a stock rebuild?

That was going to be my second guess.
