Talking thinking about selling my 318 racing motor

to start off nothing wrong with it, i love the motor but i hate the gas consumtion.
it's a 318 with 60 over pistons high performance crank, mild cam. i run 112 octane in it. motor gets full synthetics oil and i use a 15 gal. fuel cell. service motor every 500 miles.
the motor has horse power and tourqe. but i am considering selling it and putting a cummins or a stock 318 back in it.
motor has maybe 10,000 mile tops. whats a good price for the motor, and also what do you guy think about a cummins in a 1/2 ton ram.
please don't give me no hell on the choice of me doing this motor like this, i though i was going to drag race my truck then i decided this truck can't handle drag racing.

.060? and to think, i was worried about taking my 360 .040!

to be honest with you, it may be hard to sell since you pretty much hogged the bore to and maybe beyond their limits. was the block tested?

what EXACTLY is a "performance crank"? why are you running 112 octane?

no offense but unless you've neglected to divulge other mods your power isnt much over a stock 318

Come on the motor comes with a jet pack to help it make awesome power

Racing motor no, rebuilt yes, motor cant be redone without serious work and most would just trash and replace with another junker.

You must not be familiar with Superhawk over on Pavementsucks. Just to give you an idea, this is his rig. Ya, it is used to be a stock 1500. Check this thread, and go down to post #7 for some pics:

Or you can read the entire build in this 162 page thread:
