plenium gasket fix

Default plenium gasket fix

i have about 4oz of oil in the keg. i know theres so many threads, i know how to do it what to do and kegger mod. but cash is short can a A)run the truck till i get the cash two weeks or so. or 2) fix it now cheaper like a metal belly gasket or street sign it?
plz guys any help soon would be awesome after the seafoam she popped damn you seafoam

there's really no hurry. lots of people drive them with leaking plenum for years.
the only possible harm is loss of oil and catalytic contamination.

+1... the longer it goes the chances of the cat getting clogged, which in turn causes a lot of excess heat backing up and cracked heads can be one result. So don't wait that long.

im pretty sure it just happened a week ago cause i was seafoaming and decided to check down the throotle blades and clean as a whistle then i took my throotle off yesterday for the poor man throotle body mod and she was idling rough took it back off loked down and saw oil.ive been saving for gibson headers and 1.7 now this

Since it'll be apart, at least do cap, rotor, wires and plugs (if they're old). Other than that some guys will replace the t-stat since you're right there.

i just did a 180 tstat didnt do much but makes me feel better seeing her not getting so hot. and alsso can i use 8mm wires are 8.5 or 9 really that great and i heard for cap go with brass?

I stuck with 7mm. And yes, definitely go with brass terminals for the cap.
