Default 2001 Dodge Ram Turn Signal/ Brake Problem

When I apply the brakes on my truck with left turn signal on, the blinker stops working. I have swapped the rear brake light sockets (right to left) to see if it was a socket problem. Problem persists.

I have also replaced the multi function switch at the steering column.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Do the lights work normally independent of each other? I would suspect either a bad bulb, or, a bad ground.

The brake light and turn signal light are one in the same.
