Gauge cluster
It doesn't matter what Texas requires, odometer fraud is a federal crime.
Putting in your original gauge cluster to sell the truck would still be odometer fraud because the old cluster hasn't been accumulating any miles on it while you have had the other cluster in. So it reads low of what the actual trucks mileage is.

And if I ever did decide to sell my truck, I have the original cluster that still reads 110k!
Swapping instrument clusters to lower the mileage is something inbred toothless hicks from Kentucky do while drinking PBR and screwing their cousins in their '77 El Camino.
If you're gonna swap instrument clusters, have the dealer change the mileage to the correct number. If you're gonna do something, do it right, or dont do it at all.
