low idling

Default low idling

i can not figure out why my truck is idiling so low. from 0 to 1 it is just under half and it dies out on me when i go to stop or put it in gear

If it's otherwise running well it could be the IAC, the TPS, or even the pre-cat oxygen sensor. Got any other symptoms like decreased gas mileage, loss of power, noises?

well i am getting around 11 mpg but i am ridding on LT285/75/16D. My pre cat 02 has been firing slow but been that way sence i had the truck and the idle problem just started

TPS or IAC then.

how hard is it to find out which one it is with out buying both

You can pull the TB and try clean the TPS, and IAC. and clean the TB too. There is a tread on how to do it. (There's that SEARCH option again). Some good contact cleaner works well. For what it is worth, normal idle on my truck is 800 rpm.

the normal idle for the truck is 800 i am about 400 or 500
