Will a 318 oil filter fit on a 360 ?

yes. you can also use the common F8A, same dia. and threads, but longer.

The motorcraft FL1A is what I use. It's really big.

Yes, but dont bother. Use the larger NAPA Gold 1515 (WIX 51515, Motorcraft FL-1A) size. Its what Ma Mopar used in the 60's.

I thought we decided that the wix filter did not filter as well as the FL1A?
I went back and looked it was the two quart filter that does not filter as well as the FL1A.
